Position Summary

The position is responsible to efficiently build displays, setup Planograms, place point of sale materials, stock shelves, rotate products, promote, reorder of stocks, replenish, and provide excellent customer service.

Essential Functions

1. Conducts in-store promotions to reach customer awareness.
2. Displays products safely and efficiently in the marketplace to Merchandising Standard.
3. Understands and implements Fridge Planogram in the marketplace.
4. Places first sold in the front and last sold in the back of the display (FIFO).
5. Checks dates and pull out damaged and products outside the date code policy.
6. Checks stores and refills the shelves and displays.
7. Presents accurate and timely feedback on competitor’s activity and market conditions.
8. Ensures the optimum use of merchandising materials and equipment allocated to him.
9. Places new and relevant point of sale material in the right place beside the product.
10. Stocks all shelves and ensure enough quantity of products are displayed.
11. Conducts well prepared and successful in-store-promotions for all products.
12. Reports consumer feedback after every in-store-promotion conducted.
13. Ensures product quality and freshness is maintained by adhering to Product Handling, Cold Chain Management, and Date Code Policy practices.
14. Maintains neat and orderly assigned storage, display area within the trade by removing all used crates, packages, empty trays, and spillage of leaking products.
15. Projects a positive company image by maintaining high standards of sales ethics and an acceptable level of personal grooming and hygiene.
16. Submits required daily merchandisers report.
17. Cleans inside, outside of Fridges, and ensures clean surrounding area.
18. Ensures the Fridge, product temperature is always as per the prescribed temperature level.
19. Guides the Shelf Stackers working in his territory.
20. Assisting salesmen in delivering products to the stores as required.
21. Efficiently display Fresh, Juice, Foods, and UHT products in the marketplace to achieve the standard.
22. Merchandise products as per the planogram to have a good presence.
23. Rotate products, check dates, and pull out expired products to give customer confidence.
24. Maintain and replenish the stock on the shelves and back rooms to avoid OOS.
25. Place advertising and point of sale material to the product support.
